Professor Mehdi Hedayati is an esteemed biochemist currently serving at the Cellular and Molecular Research Center within the Research Institute for Endocrine Sciences at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. Holding a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Professor Hedayati has dedicated his career to advancing research in the biochemical and genetic aspects of thyroid disorders, particularly thyroid cancer, as well as the biochemistry of obesity and diabetes. Throughout his career, Professor Hedayati has held various prominent academic positions, including Head of Cellular and Molecular Endocrine Research Center and Deputy of Research Institute. He has made significant contributions to the field through numerous impactful publications and by spearheading innovative research initiatives. Recognized as one of the leading biochemists in Iran, Professor Hedayati has been honored with accolades from Shahid Beheshti University and the Ministry of Health. His expertise has led to editorial roles in several esteemed scientific journals, and he has served on various health committees, demonstrating his commitment to both groundbreaking research and public health advancement.
