Aims & Scope
Biomedicine Advances is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access online journal dedicated to advancing research on health and disease. It focuses on the discovery and exploration of novel therapeutic targets, innovative treatment approaches, and the study of naturally derived biomedicines, pharmaceuticals, and nutraceutical products. Topics include:
• Epidemiology of diseases
• Public health
• Clinical studies and applications
• Genomics and proteomics
• Epigenetics
• Mechanisms of diseases
• Early diagnosis and biomarkers of diseases
• Biotechnological advances in biomedicine
• Regenerative medicine
• Artificial intelligence in medicine
Biomedicine Advances publishes high-quality papers addressing the challenges in bringing clinical translation of biological agent molecules or novel targeted strategies through identification, research, and development, and ultimately, to clinical use specifically in neuroscience, cancer, cardiovascular, and endocrine systems.
Therefore, laboratory medicine research, comprehensive preclinical studies, and most clinical studies focused on the development and early phase of clinical trials are all within the scope of the journal. Furthermore, mechanistic studies at the transcriptome, epi-transcriptome, proteome, and metabolome are in line with the journal’s scope. The journal also emphasizes regenerative medicine, biotechnology-driven therapeutic approaches, and biomarker discovery. Additionally, interdisciplinary research integrating artificial intelligence with biomedicine is regarded as a key area of focus within the journal's scope.
